The size makes it easy to use on various body parts i.e. not too big but big enough. Works well for me in reducing inflammation around a knee with torn meniscus, but have also used it on my back and ankle. Charge it up, wrap it on, set a timer and you’re good to go. I highly recommend this product.

I have medically confirmed bone on bone OA on one knee, the other knee is not far behind. It's genetic. I don't want a knee replacement at my age as I'll have to get it redone in 15-20 years. I need the knees I've got to stay working for another 15 years at least so I was keen to try the red light joint wrap after reading some of the scientific studies done on red and IR light. I've been using it daily for 20 mins on each knee for 4 weeks, then plan to go on a maintenance phase of using 3 times per week. I've kept my supplements, diet and activity levels the same. This is what I have experienced:
Week 1 - no noticeable change
Week 2 - my bone on bone leg felt more 'upright' when walking
Week 3 - I was able to uncross my legs and get up from the sofa without pain, this used to really hurt. Walking downhill is less painful. I had comments that I am not limping as much. I'm able to walk a bit faster and further with the dogs and my knees are not so fatigued afterwards. I've been able to walk down the stairs one foot in front of the other on occasions.
Week 4 - the bone on bone knee is much less inflamed and hasn't looked this good for a number of years. The other knee now looks very good, almost like a 'normal' knee. There is significantly less joint fatigue after activity. Walking downhill now causes only slight discomfort. I'm getting more done in the day as I don't have to keep sitting down as often due to joint fatigue.
I would say my knees feel like they have been taken…

Does red light therapy work through clothes?
Yes and no. Red Light therapy does not penetrate through clothing or bandages as it visible to the eye. However near infrared light, which is invisible to the eye, will penetrate through clothes and many bandages and dressings.
